Lately, I find myself making purchases that are not rational for my current situation.
A guitar, for example.
A stand light.
And now, I am thinking about buying a vase and flowers.
Yet perhaps these are exactly what I need right now.
The meaning of “need” itself becomes difficult to define.
What is unnecessary might be what is necessary.
