The best part was avoiding chemotherapy.

Instead, my treatment became much simpler.

Regular checkups every few months.

An hour of walking each day.

A little strength training.

I avoid refined sugar and wheat as much as I can.

Not because I believe I can control everything.

Only because I want to reduce the risk as much as possible.

I soon realized how much sugar and wheat are hidden in everyday food.

I also realized that food without them, and still enjoyable to eat, usually costs more.

At some point, I stopped looking at the price tags.

My priorities had changed.

I did not want my health to be decided by a number on a label.

Money?

It will work itself out.
